Hagerstown-Orlando Air Service Takes A Break

August 12th, 2014 by WCBC Radio

Low-cost carrier Allegiant Air is temporarily suspending its passenger route from Hagerstown Regional Airport to Orlando as vacation season winds down.   The twice-weekly service will resume at the end of October.  The Hagerstown Daily Mail says that the seasonal shutdown is an annual occurrence.   An airline spokesman says the hiatus is an important part of its low-fare model, ensuring that planes fly only when full of passengers.
