Head Frankfort Coach To Remain On Administrative Leave

The Mineral County Board of Education ruled Thursday evening during special session that Kevin Whiteman, physical education teacher and head football coach at Frankfort High school, is to remain on administrative leave pending a complete investigation.

WCBC confirmed two weeks that there was an ongoing investigation by Mineral County Sheriff Jeremy Taylor. WCBC News was told at that time that the investigation would take 2 weeks and perhaps longer and that the recently named States Attorney Cody Pancake is following that investigation. However, when contacted by WCBC News, Pancake  would only say no comment. WCBC News has over the last two weeks reached out to the Mineral County Superintedent of Schools  Shawn Dilly, Dilly has refused to return phone calls. WCBC News has reached out through unnamed sources to Coach Whiteman, Whiteman has indicated that there is no truth to any allegations. However he remains on administrative leave.
