Heat Wave Claims Another Life; Deaths Up to 9

Heat-related deaths in Maryland reached nine on Friday. Accroding to WBAL News, the Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene reported Friday that a Baltimore County elderly man had died due to the heat. There were 34 people who died last year in Maryland of heat-related causes. The Maryland Emergency Management Agency says 95 cooling centers remain open across the state.
