Heritage Days 2012 is this weekend in Downtown Cumberland and Historic Washington Street with the two day festival once again combining arts and crafts, food and fun and a little history. Now in it’s 44th year, large crowds are expected Saturday and Sunday with more than 130 vendors participating. In addition the event will feature a children’s carnival. Gayle Griffith has headed the committee coordinating Heritage Days for many years- however she says it’s a true community effort that makes the event such a success each year…
