Holiday weekends are always somewhat weather dependent, and parts of the the Mid Atlantic, mainly the coastal areas, were affected by Tropical Storm Hermine as it tracked northward Friday and Saturday.
The storm caused dangerous surf, and some flooding, but extreme damage was avoided, and the biggest damage may have been vacations.
