UPDATED: High Winds Cause Power Outages

High winds Saturday knocked out power to all of Spring Gap, half of Oldtown and a couple hundred residents of Cumberland.

In West Virginia, about 1000 customers of Potomac Edison lost power in the Petersburg area.

Overnight, about 1900 residences were without power in Garrett County, including a thousand in Accident, and over 400 in Oakland and 200 in Grantsville. (New information)

A wind advisory in the mountains to our west runs into Sunday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.
