In February, Maryland Democratic lawmakers announced legislation that would create an Oversight and Planning Board for the Maryland Transit Authority- essentially wrestling control of those decisions from republican governor Larry Hogan. Now many of those same democratic lawmakers want to taker school construction decisions from the Board of Public Works- which Hogan chairs.
