Hogan Demands Board of Elections Deliver Report on Voting Problems

On the morning after another election in Maryland was beset by ballot problems, Lt. Governor Boyd Rutherford said at Wednesday's Board of Public Works meeting that it may be time for new leadership at the Maryland State Board of Elections. Meanwhile, Governor Larry Hogan, demanded that administrator Linda Lamone deliver a full report on the problems with Tuesday's primary election by July 3. Lamone was appointed as the state administrator of elections in 1997- and following election issues in 2014, 2016 and 2018  Rutherford told WBAL radio that she was already on thin ice heading into this the Tuesday’s primary. He believes Lamone has already been given too many “second chances” and it is time for a change…
