Hogan: Family gatherings fueling COVID spread

Of the newly reported COVID-19 cases in Maryland, Governor Larry Hogan said that health department data shows 56% of those testing positive were under the age of 40. The positivity rate for Marylanders under 35 has been on the rise in recent weeks, according to Hogan. Through contact tracing, Hogan said the state found the number one activity where Marylanders picked up the virus was at family gatherings. The data showed that of those who tested positive for the virus, 44% said they had attended a family gathering, 23% attended house parties and 21% attended outdoor events…

    COVID is not a hoax. If schools do not continue with digital learning, I am going to register my 3 grandchildren, who I raise for them to be homeschooled by me. Younger children carry COVID and will bring it home to me. I have lost 1 relative to COVID. She suffered a terrible death on a ventilator and her husband, mom and dad said goodbye to her on an iPad. COVID is real.
