Hogan Gets Good News On Cancer Treatment

August 19th, 2015 by WCBC Radio

Maryland Governor Larry Hogan says 95 percent of his cancer is gone.

In an interview with the Washington Post, Hogan says his doctors are shocked by the results, and are hopeful that all of his tumors are gone the next time he has a scan.

Hogan says he still has some remnants of the tumors his doctors found two months ago.  He's been receiving treatment for B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma, and has cut back his schedule for the treatment and has tried to avoid contact with people because of a weakened immune system.

Even with the good news, the first term governor will still have to complete all six rounds of his 18 week treatment.
