Hogan Outlines Tax Cuts; Tax Credit for Factories in Western Maryland

Maryland Governor Larry Hogan has outlined plans for about $480 million in tax cuts over five years- and part of the package may have a tremendous economic benefit for Allegany County. Outlining a proposal that calls for $480 million in tax cuts over five years- Hogan detailed a manufacuring tax credit program that would eliminate state business taxes for manufacturers that build factories in enterprise zones set up in Baltimore City, parts of the Lower Eastern Shore and Western Maryland. Under the plan individual workers in these zones earning less than $65,000 a year would pay no income taxes…
