Hogan Says Controversial Issues Not Popular Among Marylanders; House Speaker Disagrees

Much of the campaign focus on the part of the Maryland Gubernatorial candidates has been on some of more controversial  issues that have already become law during the O’Malley- Brown administration.  Republican candidate Larry Hogan has made it clear that issues such as the Dream Act, same sex marriage, decriminalizing marijuana and gun control- while getting approval- are not popular among the majority of Marylanders.  House Speaker Michael Busch, a democrat, disagrees, noting that many of the issues were put before the voters on referendum ballot- and the people have spoken…
