Much of the campaign focus on the part of the Maryland Gubernatorial candidates has been on some of more controversial issues that have already become law during the O’Malley- Brown administration. Republican candidate Larry Hogan has made it clear that issues such as the Dream Act, same sex marriage, decriminalizing marijuana and gun control- while getting approval- are not popular among the majority of Marylanders.
