Hogan Win Being Called A Bipartisan Victory

If Maryland’s governor-elect Larry Hogan hopes to accomplish more than his GOP predecessor Robert Erhlich- he has to bring a less confrontational, far more bi-partisan approach to the job. That is the opinion of Todd Eberly, professor of political science at St. Mary's College. He called Hogan’s Tuesday night win over heavily favored Anthony Brown- a bipartisan victory.  He said the bottom line is that Hogan ran a far more focused, and clearly defined campaign that his opponent and further adds he believes Brown's gubernatorial campaign strategy was one of the worst in modern state history.  In 2011, republican Bob Ehrlich began a rocky four year relationship with the state’s democratic leadership with little of his agenda seeing the light of day. Eberly says Hogan needs to adopt a platform of compromise in order to be successful….
