Allegany County is steep in holiday traditions and events- not the least of which is the annual downtown Cumberland Christmas Tree lighting ceremony the day after Thanksgiving. Allegany County Tourism Director Barb Buehl says that is just one of many popular holiday events scheduled for the area.
