Hospital Officials Urge Slim Visiting Due to Flu

Although there are no restrictions at the Western Maryland Health System, on of the state's largest hospitals is advising those under the age of 18 to not visit patients unless they are a close family member because of the flu. Dr. Johnathon Gottlieb is the chief medical officer at the University of Maryland Medical Center and says there are ways you can help keep from psreading influenza.





The Maryland Department of Health and Mental Hygiene says the flu is now widespread in the state, and the peak of the season is yet to come.
