UDPATED: Power Restored To Hundreds Who Lost Electric During Storms

11 AM UPDATE:

Potomac Edison is reporting, via its website, that power has been restored to nearly all of those affected in the Little Orleans and Hancock areas.

Just over the western Garrett County line, over 400 are without electric in the Terra Alta area, with another 300 plus out near Rowlesburg in Preston County.

INITIAL REPORT:

Potomac Edison is reported that about 600 customers remain without power in the Eastern Allegany County/Western Washington County area.

There are about 300 customers without power in each of the Little Orleans and Hancock areas.

Crews hope to have the lights back on by 1 PM, according to the PE website.

There are sporadic outages that involve a handful of customers in other areas.  To the west, in Preston County, WV, a total of 900 are without service.
