As of 10:00 AM, crews from Potomac Edison were working on a number of outages in the WCBC listening area.
In Allegany County, about 450 were without electric, with over 300 in Little Orleans and over 100 in Oldtown.
65 were without power in Mineral County, and about a hundred each in Hampshire and Hardy Counties.
Icy conditions are believed to be the reason behind the situations.
