Maryland State Police responded to a single vehicle accident early Monday on Interstate 68 West, east of Haystack Mountain. Indications are that a car slid on an ice patch, strking a guard rail. Traffic was delayed for about 45 minutes as police cleared the scene. There were no injuries, and no charges pending.
