Three people were injured in two accidents that occurred on eastbound Interstate 68 at Haystack Mountain just after 7 a.m. on Friday. The Cumberland Times News reports that LaVale, Cresaptown and Cumberland Fire Department ambulances transported the injured people to the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center for treatment of apparently minor injuries. Initial reports indicated the accident involved only property damage. However, an ambulance was requested after first units arrived on the scene.
