Maryland State Police Frederick Barrack is currently working multiple crashes involving multiple tractor-trailers, I-70 just east of the Washington County line. There is a personal injury crash with entrapment and I-70 east bound is currently closed. We are anticipating an extended road closure and are establishing a detour at MD Route 66 in Washington County, to US 40. The Maryland State Police are asking travelers to avoid the area if possible.
