At approximately 4:30, Monday afternoon, the Maryland State Police announced I-81 S/B at the 2 mile marker is closed. Traffic is being directed through Williamsport to Rt 11 South to WV. Due to a multi-vehicle collision involving tractor trailers and passenger vehicles I-81 will be closed for emergency equipment to clear the road and investigate the collision. A more complete press release will follow when more information is available.
