Obamacare open enrollment has kicked off this past week, and starting January 1, 2017 monthly insurance premiums are increasing by an average of 25 percent across the nation. The hefty increases have drawn criticism from foes of the Affordable Care Act, who have repeatedly called for the law to be repealed.
