Maryland corrections officials are investigating after a 35-year-old inmate was found dead in his cell Friday at the Jessup Correctional Institution. Correctional staff found the body of Louis Leysath in his cell, which was filled with steam. Leysath was serving a life sentence for murder. Leysath was housed alone, and while investigators do not suspect foul play, they say it is not clear whether the death was accidental or suicide.
