On Wednesday, at approximately 8:00PM, nmate Dion Alves walked-off from his work site of Bulls and Bears Restaurant in Hagerstown, Maryland. Alves is an inmate that is incarcerated at MCTC in Hagerstown, Maryland and was currently assigned to work at the above listed location during his pre-release. On this date, employees at the restaurant notified the Department of Corrections (DOC) when they observed Inmate Alves violate rules of his pre-release while at the establishment. Guards from DOC were dispatched to the restaurant, prior to their arrival inmate Alves walked off from this work site. DOC attempted to locate inmate Alves, when they were unable to do so, notifications were made reporting the escape. At approximately 2130 hours Troopers from the Maryland State Police Barrack in Hagerstown were notified of the escape and responded to the area. Attempts to locate Alves revealed negative results. 5-11 inches tall
190 pounds
brown eyes
shaved head
light shadowed goatee
last seen wearing white T-shirt with no markings, dark blue jeans, unknown shoes.
