Cumberland City Police continuing to investigate an incident that occurred on the campus of Allegany College of Maryland Monday afternoon. A press release issued by the college indicated that there had been a report of an altercation on campus and that a large crowd had gathered as a result. A caller to WCBC News on Tuesday indicated that as he and his family arrived on campus Monday to report an earlier incident to the college’s administration, they became the target of taunts and threats by a large gang of students. Lt. Chuck Ternent with the city police department responded to the scene on Monday and he tells WCBC News that at this point there is no evidence that an assault or disturbance occurred- and that the investigation is ongoing…
