Justice responds to WVU Football’s BLM helmet sticker controversy

WVU student-athletes have been speaking out about the need for equality and change in America in recent weeks- and several football players announced via twitter last week plans for the team to wear Black Lives Matter stickers on their helmets this season. This has not been without some controversy with many fans and alumni saying they will boycott the team. In a press conference Tuesday, West Virginia Governor Jim Justice said while he met with WVU’s president over the weekend, the Black Lives Matter issue was not discussed.
