Maryland’s 2013 General Assembly was dominated by several emotional, heated debates on key issues- but Delegate Kevin Kelly said when all was said and done- nothing compared to the level of interest, and opposition to the governor’s stringent gun control measure. Kelly, an Allegany County democrat who often times is at odds with his party’s leadership, said that while his office received plenty of correspondence on the gas tax hike and the death penalty repeal- that paled in comparison to the volume of e-mails and letters on gun control.
