Kelly to Introduce Yellow Dot Legislation

December 12th, 2011 by WCBC Radio

Delegate Kevin Kelly told the Allegany County Chamber of Commerce that he plans to introduce so-called  Yellow Dot legislation during the upcoming general assembly session. Administered by the Maryland State Police and Motor Vehicle Administration, yellow dots would be available for placement on windows of vehicles driven by aging individuals. Kelly explained that responders to an accident would then know that a yellow envelope is somewhere within the vehicle and contains pertinent identification and medical information about the occupant. He says it could prove to be a life saver.
