A Keyser man already being held in the Potomac Highlands Regional Jail was served a felony arrest warrant on Thursday charging him with possession and distribution of child pornography. The Cumberland Times News reports Kenneth Allen Gano, 24, allegedly distributed the digital images via the social media site Facebook, according to the Keyser Police Department. The warrant charges Gano with possession of child pornography and four counts of distribution of child pornography. If convicted, Gano faces 18 years in prison and an 18,000 fine. Additionally, Gano is charged with impersonating a police officer, two counts of domestic assault and Internet harassment. Gano was already jailed on a pending sex offender parole violation, stemming from a third-degree sex offense conviction in Mineral County Circuit Court. The Mineral County Probation Office requested the investigation by Keyser Police.
