On Saturday, Cumberland City Police responded to the 300 Block of Pennsylvania Ave for the report of a subject who had broken into a vehicle.
Upon arrival, officers located a female asleep in the rear seat of a passenger vehicle. She was identified as Lindsey Marie Favara, 36, of Keyser WV. Favara advised she was just tired and went to sleep. The owner of the vehicle was then located and advised that she did not know Favara and never gave her permission to be in the vehicle. As a result, Favara was placed under arrest and taken to police headquarters.
Favara was charged with Disorderly Conduct and Tampering with a Motor Vehicle. She was issued citations and released, pending trial in District Court.
