Keyser woman pleads guilty

The Cumberland Times News reports the Keyser woman and former Mineral County educator accused of having sexual relations with three high school boys pleaded guilty to three counts of third-degree sexual assault Thursday morning at her presentencing hearing in circuit court. In addition to her guilty plea, Denise Fitch also formally resigned from her technology integration specialist position with Mineral County schools. Fitch was arrested last fall after confessing to a psychologist that she had inappropriate contact with three teenage boys at her home in June 2010. Fitch also confessed to her husband, who helped to identify the victims, according to Prosecuting Attorney Jay Courrier
