The Preston County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information to possibly identify an unknown white male, approximately 6’1 to 6’4, 220 lbs. to 240 lbs. who appears to be in his late twenties to early thirties.
The unknown subject walked into the Clear Mountain Bank at the intersection of West Virginia Route 7 and Route 26 in Kingwood at approximately 1:10 PM this afternoon and demanded money from a teller. The unknown male was wearing khaki shorts, white tee shirt with a grey jacket and a black ball cap with white lettering.
Anyone who may have been in the area or has any information is asked to immediately contact the Preston County Sheriff’s Office at 304-329-1611 or the West Virginia State Police at 304-329-1101.
The person should be considered armed and dangerous.
