Garrett County Sheriff, Robert Corley, spokesman for the Garrett County Narcotics Task Force, announced the arrest of a Kitzmiller, Maryland resident on drug charges. On July 21 investigators with the task force and uniform members of the Garrett County Sheriff's Office to include the Sheriff's Office Special Response Team executed a search and seizure warrant at a Spring Street residence in Kitzmiller, Maryland. A search of the residence revealed a large quantity of cocaine packaged for sale and marijuana. As a result, Michael Rodriguez was arrested and criminally charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine and Possession with Intent to Distribute Cocaine Large Amount. Also present at the time of the warrant service was New York resident Candace Taylor who was arrested and criminally charged with Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia.
