The 2019 Lambda Car Club International Grand Invitational is being held in Cumberland, MD June 19th- 23rd, 2019. Lambda Car Club International is the largest collector car club for LGBT people in North America. An organization that embraces all vehicles. LCCI’s annual national meet know as the ‘The Grand Invitational’ is a five day event routinely draws 300 Members, 150 vehicles, and a large public crowd. The Saturday Auto Show will be held on the Downtown Cumberland Mall and will include four bands-including local favorites the Chinese Bandits and Hot Sauce Willie-, spectator and youth judgings, vintage car films and more. Kyle Blake, LCCI Northeast Regional Director, states that “Currently, the event registration includes members from 28 US states and 3 Canadian Providences bringing vehicles ranging from a 1910 Stanley Steam Car to a 2019 Mercedes Benz AMG Coupe; and registration is still open until June 1st”.
This event is expected to have a significant economic impact in the area and provides a great opportunity for Cumberland as it is standing among a past lineup of host cities that includes Detroit, Las Vegas, and Nashville.
