LaVale Man Arrested Twice In One Night

On 05/30/14 at 9:43am the Cumberland Police Dept. responded to a business located in the 300blk of N Centre St in reference to a theft complaint. Investigation revealed that a male subject came into the establishment and sat at a table where a patron had just left. The subject then removed a small amount of currency left by the subject previously at the business to pay her bill. The subject was identified as 32 year old Paul Harman of LaVale. Harman was transported to the Cumberland Police Dept where he was issued a Criminal Citation for theft under $100 and released.

 

On 05/30/14 at 5:30pm Officers from the Cumberland Police Dept responded to a business located in the 100blk of S Centre St in reference to a theft. Investigation revealed that a male subject came into the business and ordered food and several alcoholic beverages. The subject then left the business without paying for the items. Employees of the business followed the male subject who was identified as Paul Harman. Harman was again placed under arrest and transported to the Cumberland Police Dept where he was issued a second Criminal Citation for Theft Under $100 and released pending trial in District Court.
