Maryland lawmakers are working to put finishing touches on priority legislation before an early adjournment due to coronavirus. Passing a balanced budget to pay for the state’s operations is something lawmakers are required to do during their annual legislative session. Legislators are aiming to adjourn Wednesday- nearly three weeks short of the scheduled last day of their 90-day session on April 6.
