Lawyer for Wayne Foote says his client will continue fight effort to oust him from the school board

George “Mac” McKinley, the attorney representing embattled Allegany County School Board member Wayne Foote in his fight against efforts to have him removed, commenting on the impact the process has had on his client. The Maryland State Board of Education issued charges against Foote this week for misconduct in office and willful neglect of duty.  The charges focus on breaching confidentiality of the board’s closed sessions; and several incidents of sexual misconduct and intimidation.  McKinley notes that the process may well prove lengthy as it involves the office of administrative hearings; the state board of education; an investigation into the allegations and ultimately a possible appeal in Circuit Court. Despite the prospects of a protracted legal battle, McKinely says Foote is prepared to continue…

    What is the impact on the people Foote groped and demeaned professionally? Why isn’t George talking about that?
