Local drivers haven’t seen much in the way of price increases or decreases when filling up this week. AAA says tightening supplies, refinery maintenance, and some unplanned outages are causing price volatility across the country. The gas price average in Maryland today is $2.46, which is down respectively one cent in the last week, eleven cents in the last month and 23 cents from this date last year. Today’s national gas price average is $2.61, down four cents compared to last week and month ago prices. The average is 22 cents less than this time last year.
