Two years ago it was funding for a new high school and then the debate switched to overall funding priorities. This year the arguments have centered on school security and meeting access. There is no secret the relationship between the boards of commissioners and education that took office in January 2011 have not seen eye to eye on any number of key issues- and it appears the dissention is only growing. Just last week the commissioners discussed the possibility of taking the board to court. School Board member Mike Llewellyn says he doesn’t understand why there has been a deteriorating relationship between the board and the commissioners.
