Rabbi Mark Permanhas announced plans for a local 9-11 ceremony. "Please join us on Sunday, September 11th on the downtown Cumberland mall at 5PM as we commemorate the terrible events of September 11th, 2001.
We will come together in an interfaith service to pray, to reflect, to mourn those who lost their lives, and hope for a world where this type of tragedy will never happen again. We are linked by our faith traditions and as Americans to "seek peace and pursue it" and that will be one of our goals in coming together on 9-11.
