A public meeting of the Local Development Council for Allegany County will be held on Monday, April 18, 2016, at 6:00 p.m. at the Baltimore Pike Volunteer Fire Company, 15010 Baltimore Pike NE, Cumberland. All interested individuals are invited and encouraged to attend.
Fifteen individuals, who were appointed by the Board of County Commissioners of Allegany County, serve on the Local Development Council. Jason M. Bennett, CPA, Allegany County Director of Finance, is the Council Chair. Other members include Senator George C. Edwards, Delegate Jason C. Buckle, Delegate Michael W. McKay, Allegany County Sheriff Craig A. Robertson, John Sangiovanni with Allegany Department of Social Services, Skylar Dicer with Rocky Gap Casino Resort, and community members Lori Billie, Steve Hout, David Kyle, Brian Miller, Steve Moyer, Mindy Rice, Dottie Ruby, and Dona Wolz.
