The date has been set for the local judicial nominations committee to consider applicants for the open seat in Allegany County District Court.
On October 2nd, the committee will convene to interview the eight candidates seeking to replace retired Judge Edward Malloy, Junior.
The list is to be narrowed to three, which will be forwarded to Governor Larry Hogan.
