The 2015 session of the Maryland General Assembly begins on Wednesday in Annapolis. The District 1 delegation will take the oath of office that day, which will mark the beginning of the legislative careers of 1B Delegate Jason Buckel and 1C Delegate Mike Mckay. Senator George Edwards is getting set for his 9th term, while 1A Delegate Wendell Beitzelis ready for his third. Governor-elect Larry Hogan won’t be sworn into office until January 21st.
