Over the years, several local firefighters have been part of crews that have traveled to the Western United States to battle wild fires. We've received word that Bittinger Firefighter Dennis Yoder, that company's Vice President, will be deploying to Northern California on a similar mission with the forest service to assist efforts on a large wild land fire.
