The West Virginia Office of Miners’ Health, Safety and Training (WVOMHS&T) has now comfirmed a fatal accident that occured Thursday night at Mettiki Coal’s Mountain View Mine in Tucker County. The man has been indentified as Daniel Lambka of Kitzmiller. According to the preliminary information released, the miner suffered crushing injuries. An investigation is now underway.
