Local officials took the opportunity during a Thursday meeting with state transportation representatives to voice frustration with the lack of a clearly defined set of benchmarks or target dates for the completion of the long discussed 220/219 North/South Corridor. Maryland’s Deputy Transportation Secretary and representatives from the MVA, the state highway administration and transit administration were in Allegany County to provide an update on key transportation projects.
