Local Radio Cluster Sold

August 30th, 2015 by WCBC Radio

Radioinsight.com is reporting that Allegany County stations WTBO, WKGO, & WFRB AM & FM have been sold to Forever Broadcasting, based in Hollidaysburg, Pennsylvania.

The acquisition price was not reported.

Forever owns 45 stations in Western and Central Pennsylvania, and Wheeling, WV.

The transaction will need approval by the Federal Communications Commission.  The stations have been owned as a subsidiary of the Wooster Republican printing company for the past 38 years.

That company announced plans to sell earlier this month.
