On Friday, the Cumberland Police Department served a Criminal Summons on 41 year old Elizabeth Footen.
Charges were filed at the District Court by the Allegany County Board of Education due to Footen failing to send her children to school.
As a result, a Criminal Summons was issued. Footen was served with the summons and released pending trial.
