On Tuesday, Investigators with the Allegany County Combined Criminal Investigation Unit (C3I) arrested 28 year old Christopher Russell Pavlicek, of Lonaconing, on an arrest warrant charging him with Sexual Solicitation of a Minor and two (2) counts of 2nd Degree Assault.
The charges are the result of an investigation into allegations reported to the Maryland State Police that Pavlicek had solicited a 12 year old girl and a 13 year old girl via the internet to send him nude photos of themselves and to engage in sexual acts with him. The charges of 2nd Degree Assault stem from inappropriate physical contact Pavlicek had with the victims at his residence.
C3I Investigators obtained a search warrant and served it at Pavlicek’s residence on Tuesday and recovered evidence related to the investigation. They were assisted by a Crime Scene Technician with the Maryland State Police Forensic Sciences Division.
Pavlicek was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an initial appearance and is currently being held at the Allegany County Detention Center on $20,000.00 bond pending his next court appearance.
The investigation is continuing by the C3I Unit.
