Cumberland Police responded to a residence located in the 100 block of Grand Avenue early Sunday morning in reference to a loud party. Upon officers arrival officers observed a device used to inhale marijuana. The resident, 18 year old Matthew Ryan Thomas was determined to be in possession of the device. A second subject, 22 year old Adam James Beitzel, of Grantsville, was observed concealing items in a backpack that included marijuana and paraphernalia and was also charged.
